Effecting about 30% of men, premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual dysfunctions impacting males. PE is defined as rapid ejaculation that occurs following sexual stimulation. Most experts agree that ejaculation can be considered premature when it occurs 30 seconds - 4 minutes into sex. Typically, intercourse lasts less than 2 minutes, which can make it difficult keeping up with your partner. The good news is you can take back your control!
Here are some tips & tricks to control your PE:
1. Slow Down the Tempo
This may sound simple, but take your time! Slow down the pace of pelvic thrusting. Readjust the angle and vary the depth of penetration before you reach the "point of no return".
2. Stop & GO Technique
If slowing down the pace isn't quite cutting it, try the stop & go technique. It is as easy as it sounds. Either, completely stop thrusting while maintaining penetration or pull-out and wait for the sense of "urgency" to go away. Once the urgency subsides, slow down the tempo to greatly reduce the sensation.
3. Pelvic Muscle Training
Strengthening your core and pelvic muscles can be one of the most effective ways to prevent premature ejaculation. Thus muscles around your pelvic area control and support the penis. By actively engaging the pelvic muscles and core strengthening, this will give you more control over your premature ejaculation. As we age, our muscles natural get weaker. Keeping your pelvic muscles in shape will lessen the likelihood ejaculating prematurely.
Here is helpful exercise:
Tighten your pelvic floor muscles, contract and hold for three seconds. Relax. Try it a few times in a row. If your muscles feel strong enough try this while sitting, standing or walking. Maintain your focus.
